Contributing To Papered Walls

Papered Walls is a modern adaptation of Charlotte Perkins Gilman’s, 1892, renowned short story, The Yellow Wallpaper. This short psychological thriller explores the misogynistic biases surrounding women and mental health that still exist in today’s society.
This film is directed by Samantha van der Bent for her 4th-year portfolio film.  With this film, she hopes to make a statement about women's mental health especially its heightened effect due to covid-19.
Because of the heavy restrictions on filming caused by covid-19, The costs of this production are higher than normal and our student crew needs your help.
Your contribution will provide much-needed PPE, set design, and overall better represent its story and subject matter. With your help, the Sheridan students creating this film will have the funding it needs to succeed and give a voice to women and mental health. Any contribution is appreciated, thank you for your support!
